Runeblade: Kage no Michi

During one of Japan's darkest times, sacred runes known as the Ancient Runes were protected by temple priests for generations. However, these runes were stolen by warriors known as the Dark Lords, who each took them to their own regions and began using their power. Shinjiro, a shadow samurai, was tasked by Sensei Takeda with retrieving these sacred runes. By fighting to reclaim each rune and forging them into his katana, Shinjiro will become a stronger warrior, gain new abilities, and ultimately unite all the runes to end the chaos.

This game was developed in just 4 months as a university project by only two students.

Only the background music, character animations, and a few visual effects were not created by us.

The musics were made with suno ai pro version. Sound effects were edited and used from the Zapsplat and Pixabay.

Everything else including game mechanics, 3D models, level design and UI was created from scratch.
